Frequently asked questions.
What exactly do you do?
At My GroundsKeeper, we take the hassle out of maintaining your outdoor space. We provide routine lawn and garden care to keep your property looking its best year-round. Our services include mowing, edging, trimming, garden bed maintenance, hedging, and seasonal treatments — all tailored to your property’s needs.
Whether it’s your home, investment property, or business premises, we make sure your grounds always look tidy, healthy, and well-presented.
What areas do you service?
We currently service properties within the Camden Local Government Area (LGA) — including Camden, Spring Farm, Narellan, Elderslie, Mount Annan, and nearby suburbs.
If you’re just outside this area, please get in touch at info@mygroundskeeper.com.au, and we’ll see what we can arrange.
What size properties do you look after?
We currently care for properties up to 1,000 square metres. If your property is larger and you’d still like to use our services, please reach out — we’re expanding our capacity and may be able to accommodate you soon.
Who is this service best for?
Our service is ideal for busy homeowners, property investors, and small businesses who want a consistently neat and healthy outdoor space without the stress of doing it themselves.
If you value reliability, quality workmanship, and clear communication — you’ll love what we do.
What makes you different from other lawn care providers?
We’re not just here to cut grass — we care for your property as if it were our own.
With My GroundsKeeper, you get:
Full Lawn Care — Not just a quick trim and go, rather an all inclusive lawn service built into the cost
Attention to detail — every edge, garden bed, and path is taken care of.
Ongoing care — we keep track of your property’s needs through the seasons, so it always looks great.
Our goal is to provide a stress-free, dependable service without leaving more work for you to do, that you can trust week after week.
Do you cater for businesses or commercial properties?
Yes — we service both residential and commercial clients.
We understand how important first impressions are for your business, and we can tailor a regular maintenance plan that keeps your premises looking professional and inviting all year round.
What happens during winter?
Winter is when lawns and gardens slow down, but we don’t stop. We adjust our services to focus on tidy-ups, pruning, soil health, weed control, and preparation for spring growth.
It’s the perfect time to give your property a refresh and get ahead for the warmer months.
Do you still work on rainy days?
Absolutely — light rain won’t stop us, except for mowing as this will cause damage to the soil structure and create inefficient cuts . If the weather makes it unsafe or would affect the quality of the work, we’ll simply reschedule your service to the next available day and keep you informed.
How long will you be at my property each visit?
Each property is different, but most visits take place within a 3-hour window at your scheduled time.
We focus on efficiency and quality, ensuring your lawns, gardens, and surrounding areas are all cared for before we leave.
What if I need to re-schedule an appointment?
No problem — life happens!
Just let us know at least 24 hours in advance, and we’ll find a new time that suits you. You can contact us directly by email or through your booking confirmation link.
What don’t you do?
We focus on ongoing lawn and garden care rather than one-off or large-scale projects.
That means we don’t offer:
Landscaping or garden design
Permanent irrigation system installs
Tree removal or heavy excavation
Paving, concreting, or structural work
If you’re ever unsure, just ask — we’re happy to point you in the right direction or recommend a trusted local specialist.
What’s expected from clients before we arrive?
To help us deliver the best results safely and efficiently, we just ask that your yard is ready for our visit. Please:
Move any vehicles that may block access to the lawn or garden areas
Pick up children’s toys, hoses, and other loose items
Ensure the area is clear of dog waste
Unlock any gates or access points before your scheduled time
A few small steps like these help us work quickly, safely, and leave your property looking its best every visit.
Do I need to be home during my service?
No, you don’t need to be home — many of our clients aren’t!
As long as we have clear access to your yard (gates unlocked, pets secured, and obstacles moved), we’ll take care of everything while you get on with your day.
If you prefer to be home, that’s completely fine too — we’ll happily work around you. Either way, you’ll always come home to a freshly maintained lawn and garden.
Do you have stand-down periods?
Yes. We operate 48 weeks per year, with short breaks to allow for rest and maintenance.
Our stand-down periods are:
Winter Break: June 1st – June 14th (returning June 15th)
Christmas Break: December 22nd – January 4th (returning January 5th)
Before each break, we make sure your property is in top condition so it stays neat until we return.
